I love this sign! Look for it inside the coffee shop! Where is it? :)

Have you ever been to the COFIFI Cafe? If you haven't, then you're missing out!!!

Named after the owner, Tiffany R. Ong Yiu (whose nickname is Fifi), this trendy establishment opened last March 2009. It was supposed to be named "KAFIFI" but she changed it. Miss Ong Yiu figured it was better to open a coffee shop named after herself rather than franchising from other brand of coffee shops which was her first strategy. Kudos to her!

Since then, It has been hot and heavy with customers! According to Ms. Ong Yiu, their specialty, besides their house coffee, is their choices of Ice Blended drinks which is the perfect way to beat the heat or to keep cool. They also have a wide variety of Desserts and Pastries to choose from, Tea drinks, and of course, Who could forget their Breakfast menu??? It's fabulous! You don't have to think twice where you want to eat breakfast or brunch!

The exterior of the cafe!

The place is perfect for gatherings that is not only for the young but for the young at heart! Who said coffee's only for adults? It's a great place to hang out with friends, study with your buddies or just plain chilling! I personally love hanging out at Cofifi with a Peach Iced Tea and French Toast at my table as I fiddle with my computer (bonus points for free WiFi). Don't underestimate French Toast! It does wonders! *laughs. Not bad for starting the day! Besides the food and the drinks, I have to rave about the place itself.

My first glance of COFIFI captured by camera

As I got a chance to talk to Miss Ong Yiu, I began to understand or at least figure out her style and and how It has come to life thanks to the help of her good friend, Bernie Uy, who is the interior designer and a genius at that! Makes me wish I had a room designed like this.

Right side of the coffee shop! Very cute and utterly adorable!

When I first entered the place, My attention was immediately focused on this side of the coffee shop, the wall with all the photo frames. And if you'll zoom in on the picture, the wooden bench has victorian style-covered throw pillows. It was like 18th Century style meets Modern Brooklyn studio room. Miss Ong Yiu opted for the look that screams modern, vibrant, vintage, and a bit urban. She was inspired with New York type apartments that look unfinished with bricks for walls.

i love this spot because I see the photos up close. and since it's so nice to sit on, customers usually pick this table
because it is kind of intimate and exclusive.
Save me a seat!

Every side of the coffee shop is detailed with designs that represents the owner's style and interests. Besides her dream of owning a coffee shop which she has fulfilled, Miss Ong Yiu loved taking pictures. The photos that are hanged at the wall were not taken by her. Those photos are merely designs and serve as a representation of her fondness for photography. Hey, I can relate!

Bird Cage-Inspired chandeliers!

What she definitely wanted for her coffee shop is for it to be bright and glamorous! She specifically pointed out that she wants cheerful colors to dominate this place and not settle for earth tones. When you think of coffee, first color that comes to mind could be Black or Brown. Earth tones are okay but she wanted a different theme that set her coffee shop apart from the rest. What an achievement! The lights by the way are unique. I was wondering what they resembled until she told me her source of inspiration was a bird cage. Guess bird cages are not only for birds anymore.

And since it's close to Christmas, they are now introducing their yummy Holiday Drinks! So don't wait any longer! Check the place out and have a wonderful time with your lonesome or with your friends! It's a great place to hang! I'll see you there with me holding a mug of hot coffee! Enjoy!

I'm getting hungry just looking at this photo!

The yellow tree branch at the wall represents the building wherein the coffee shop is located,
which is in the Treehouse Building.

Even the bathroom is so chique! It is adorned with cute photos of San Francisco and a
chandelier to add a feminine touch. What I was most amazed was when she told me that the
bathroom door was once a door from an old bus! They just recycled it! Who knew right?

Jumpsuits no longer just exist in Beastie Boys' music videos, they are everywhere from the cat walk to the stylish streets.

The best thing about jumpsuits is that at any shape and size you can rock the look although there are jumpsuits that may not show your shape you can use belts to define and show off your body's silhouette. They no longer just come in denim but you can get them at really fashionable styles in chic cloth, cut and color. Pair them up with funky sneakers or some serious stiletto heels and surely you are gonna make a statement.

The shorter version of jumpsuits are called Rompers -- with rompers you can go with flashy colors and prints while with jumpsuits it's better to stick with solid colors and lesser prints the better.

so here's the trailer that pretty much says it all but the movie is still very interesting:

We all know the story of little red riding hood or heard it from somewhere. Come March 2011 and we'll be seeing the girl and the red hood on the big screen, not so little this time and involved with some hot guy.

Amanda Seyfried stars as the protagonist and based from the trailer you get the idea that the wolf is doing more than just messing grandma up. The movie shares the same director as Twilight.

When this movie comes out, will you and see it? I know i will. ^_^

If there is one article of accessory that I absolutely love, it would be scarves. People might think that if you live in a warm country then scarves won't do since it does warm you up a bit, but scarves aren't just for that.

Scarves can be a good alternative for jewelry and all other accessories, it can change the look of a simple white shirt or any top if you add a scarf on.There are a lot of different types of scarves that you can get, summer scarves which uses a much cooler cloth, some are made from polyester, silk and some are crocheted.

A simple dress that you wear to work just a top it with a silk shiny scarf then it creates that party feel to the outfit. Scarves are very flexible; they can dress up something for formal functions and it can also give that casual laid-back feel in an outfit. A variety of designs and colors are available that you can match with your personality or depending on your mood.

I know a lot of people who are not fond of Harem pants; this one guy even said that he finds it really un-sexy --- but then again, I'm pretty sure that men and women have a different definition of sexy.It was popularized by MC hammer back in the 80's and now it's re-living the glory.

The harem pants takes a lot of guts to wear because it is such a statement piece of clothing. If you wear that while getting your errands done and going through public transport then you can be assured that everyone will be staring at you and thinking why the hell is your crotch hanging so low lol, but.... if you thought of wearing the harem pants in the first place then you must be a real kick-ass person! ^_^

I love harem pants because it's different, it's iconic, it's so out of proportion and it's chic---you can sexify it with a pair of killer stilletos and roughen it up with some combat boots...hammertime!

these celebrities seem to agree:

if you want to have your own Alladin pants, you can go check Promod in Ayala or Sm for those living in Cebu...

I got mine off the sales rack ^_^ --- it was supposed to be 2000+ but guess how much i got mine??? 600 bucks! lol...

Let's spread the harem love guys!!!

You must think I'm out of my mind for doing this but it's The Vicar of Dibley and for those who know the show, I know you'd agree how good it was.

It's a British sitcom that started back in 1994 and ended year 2007. It stars the gorgeous Dawn French who is incredibly witty and a cast who are as equally fun, the shows a riot, I love it.

Ha! I know I'm totally back-tracking right now but I was listening to Imogen Heap's 2005 album Speak for Yourself and I just can't not blog about it.

Her last album was Ellipse, released last year and it also has amazing tracks but the 2nd album has a special place in my heart.

Here's the track listing:

1 - Headlock
2 - Goodnight and Go
3 - Have You Got It In You?
4 - Loose Ends
5 - Hide and Seek
6 - Clear The Area
7 - Daylight Robbery
8 - The Walk
9 - Just For Now
10 - I Am In Love With You
11 - Closing In
12 - The Moment I Said It

To accurately describe it according to woodstock.com "Her style, which incorporates layers of multi-tracking, lies somewhere between Sinead O'Connor's banshee howl and Jem's more delicate musings."... How can things get better than that huh?

When it comes to make up, specifically on foundations, I prefer those that don't cake, doesn't have that heavy feel and isn't too thick on the face. Now, I do believe that you can only preach on something that you actually do or use, so here's the foundation that I actually use and that I can attest to, Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation...

What I love about this product is that when I have it on, it's like part of my skin. Very fine to the touch you'd think you don't have any foundation at all but if you look in the mirror you actually get the perfect coverage.

It's also healthy for the skin they say because it has got some natural stuff mixed in with it that does good for your skin, which is a great plus since the closer to natural the better but as long as it does its purpose, I'm very happy with it.

The only thing that I don't like about it is that they don't sell it here in the Philippines, I think ..hmm ---- so i have to ask my sister in the UK to send me my Bourjois *pout*

Anyways I'll update more on some pictures of me using it.
